HUKO ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH AT THE END OF NOVEMBER 2015 OF THE NEW EPC COUNTING & FLOW MONITORING 2 D DEVICE
At the end of November 2015 HUKO will begin the market distribution of the new generation of EPC COUNTING & FLOW MONITORING 2 D devices, with their upgraded hardware and algorithmic components.
The device will adopt the newly conceived Octa Core Linux multiprocessor platform, based on ARM A 15 Quad core processors. This platform guarantees high computing capacities in compact dimensions.
The increased computational capacities have permitted the Huko R&D department to develop and implement original algorithms in the new EPC COUNTING & FLOW MONITORING 2 D device that guarantee further growth of the functions while at the same time increasing accuracy in situations that are critical for competing devices. The new algorithms are the first in the world to introduce the use of artificial intelligence and permit the performance of complex tasks such as, for example, the exclusion of carts from store walk-in counts or the analysis of behavioural patterns.

HUKO PROFILING EPP 5000 is the first embedded device to use the very latest SONY curved sensor that can guarantee greater image quality with compact dimensions by working on the focal planes. The HUKO EPP PROFILING 5000 device’s sensor-lens system is therefore able to eliminate the main problems associated with the use of flat sensors and capture light and colour just like the human eye. The innovations introduced by the HUKO EPP PROFILING 5000 device guarantee a reduction of image noise, and brilliant images even with poor lighting conditions and when shooting against the light. This means that the device can also be installed in complex environments such as car showrooms, glazed entrance lobbies or corporate reception areas where there are critical levels of sunlight reflection from the windows.
